UK. Scotland — Highlands

We were very surpized with Luton Airport. It's located between mountains!
Ilya
Rainy morning disappoined me with wet windows
Jet engines helped :-)
It was the first flight where I could easily take photos
You'll love Glasgow even before landing
And after landing you'll see these nice airplanes
We were looking for a car rent so we had to go to Glasgow from the airport
We saw a lot of sport-related things
For example...
Our car
After taking this photo I hadn't been shooting for half an hour as we were trying to get used to local traffic with inversed directions
Hotel parking
Our room
Our hotel
Having a lunch before going to highlands
Haggis
During the whole day we stopped every 15-30 minutes to take photos
The roads are meandering
And pictorial
And dangerous
And nice :-)
These roads were built between rocks
Somebody is living there and has his own private waterfall
Glenfinnan Viaduct (from Harry Potter films)
It's time to go back to the hotel
Castle on an island
The Milky Way

We heard that Scotland is worth visiting. And after several weeks of thinking about it we found that there were no train tickets, so we bought a flight, booked a room in small hotel 70km from Glasgow and a car. Also we had a list of places we were going to see. But finally we had to find another car and visited only one place from our list. The most important thing while driving through Higlands is to have maps cached in your cell phone as there's almost no signal. And remember that nights in the end of August are really cold.
